The House That 100K Built Burnley
North West Floor Screeders have recently completed a floor screeding project as part of a couple’s new build home, which was part of the BBC television show “The house that 100K built”. The couple Wajid and Anam began creating their new home in Burnley, Lancashire with the plot of land that was gifted to the couple by Wajid’s parents. With an £100,000 budget, the couple set out to build a contemporary three-storey, six-bedroom house with the addition of a very tight schedule to allow the couple to be settled in their new home in time for Anam’s shortly due baby.
With the whole project consisting of budgets, the floor was also required on a budget. We were able to offer a very competitive price for our bespoke underfloor heating system finished with traditional sand and cement screed. The couple were very happy with quotation we presented them and was given the go ahead to complete the floor project. Our team of approved and qualified floor screeders began fitting the bespoke underfloor heating system, starting with laying premium piping in accordance to strict schematics, to ensure that the heating system is as efficient as possible (all of our premium piping has a 50 year materials guarantee). Once all the piping has been outlaid and secured, the skilled screeders will then apply the screed and begin evening out the screed and flattening to provide a smooth finish.
Wajid and Anam were very impressed and happy with their under heated floor and hopefully they will be happy for many years to come. If you would like to join Wajid and Anam to a screeded floor with a premium underfloor heating system, contact North West Floor Screeders today and let’s see what we can do for you!
