Floor Screeding
Northwest UFH & Screed provides professional floor screeding services for residential and commercial projects throughout the North West. We install a range of screed systems including traditional sand and cement fibre screed, liquid flowing screed, faster and rapid-drying screeds, flowing concrete and self-levelling compounds.
The correct screed specification depends on the floor construction, required depth, programme, final floor finish and whether underfloor heating is being installed. Our team can advise on the most suitable screed for your project rather than applying a one-size-fits-all solution.
Our screeding installations are carried out by experienced CSCS-qualified installers, with factory-batched materials supplied by established manufacturers and suppliers. We undertake everything from domestic extensions and renovations through to larger commercial floor screeding projects.
Where underfloor heating is required, we can also provide the UFH and screeding as one coordinated package, allowing the pipework, screed depth and finished floor requirements to be considered together from the outset.
Choosing Your Screed
Choosing the correct floor screed depends on several factors, including the floor construction, required screed depth, drying time, programme, final floor finish and whether underfloor heating is being installed.
Traditional sand and cement screed can provide a cost-effective and versatile solution, while liquid and faster-drying screeds may offer reduced depths, quicker installation or shorter drying times depending on the product and application.
There isn't one screed that's best for every project. We can assess your requirements and recommend the most suitable option based on the floor build-up, timescale and intended use of the area.
