What is Overlay Underfloor Heating?

Overlay underfloor heating is a low-profile wet underfloor heating system designed to be installed over an existing solid or timber floor, making it ideal for renovations, extensions and retrofit projects where floor height is limited.
Rather than installing the pipework within a traditional deep floor build-up, specially designed low-profile panels are laid over the existing floor and hold the underfloor heating pipe securely in position. Depending on the floor construction and system specification, the completed system can achieve a very low overall build-up while providing efficient, even heat throughout the room.
